Welcome to The Dhaka Project!

Our success depends on your kind donations to brighten up the lives of our children. At The Dhaka project, we seek: professionals as well volunteers, financial assistance, educational books, food for babies and children, Asian style clothing, toiletries, and anything that your heart desires to make a difference for the people of Dhaka and Bangladesh.

The Dhaka Project is supported by Rural Services Foundation (RSF).
Every child deserves the opportunity to build a full and rewarding life. At The Dhaka Project, we maximize human potential. We try to bring hope to the children of Dhaka by providing sustainable skills and dignity needed to better their lives. We envision lifetime transformation.

The site has been designed to provide you with a quick insight into our work, the people and lives involved and our progress against our ambitions. We hope you find it informative and helpful. If you have any queries, please feel free to contact us.

  • 223 US dollars provides one room for a family, including electricity and gas costs for a whole year

Future Goals

1. Raise enough money [$1 million US] to buy a plot of land and build a school in Dhaka for 1000 children for primary / secondary / pre-university education + vocational skills training.

2. Continue to provide food, shelter, clothing, education and medical care to the children under the care of The Dhaka Project.

4. Inculcate in the children at a young age a caring concern for the environment through programmes like neighbourhood clean-up day, installing water wells for the community, setting up public lavatories for the community, shower facilites, tree-planting, solar panels, clean up the lakes.

5. Open a Medical Centre for the slums.
